Filtering for bookings

Use the filter in the Calendar widget to filter for specific bookings. Bookings can be filtered based on all booking information (Title, Description, Mandatory Devices, Devices, Users). These bookings and devices will then be displayed in the calendar.

The filter is not case-sensitive.

The Timeline display mode can be filtered for bookings and devices. The Calendar and the Table display modes can only be filtered for bookings.

To display only the calendar bookings you created, activate the My bookings checkbox.

Prerequisites

  • To execute the following action, you have to be assigned to the User role.

  • You have added the Calendar widget to a dashboard.

  • Bookings have been added to the calendar.

Proceed as follows

  1. In the Filter for bookings field, enter the text to filter for a specific booking.

    If you activate the Device Details checkbox, you can also search for the details of a device.

    To reduce the number of bookings, you can add multiple key words. For example, if you want to filter for test rides that were peformed with a specific type of car, you can add the key words test ride and <type of car>.

  2. Click the Search icon images/confluence/download/thumbnails/2388148798/icon_search_gray_background-version-1-modificationdate-1660733515000-api-v2.png .
    → The booking nearest to the current date is displayed. If no booking can be found, an information will be displayed saying that there is no booking matching the filter text.
