Viewing a device type
Proceed as follows
Click the device type's name or icon to display the information.
→ A list of devices belonging to the device type is opened and you can see general information on each device.
If you created devices via the Bosch IoT Things' HTTP API, features may be displayed as unknown feature definition or missing feature definition. An unknown feature definition refers to a feature definition that is not supported by Bosch IoT Insights, whereas a missing feature definition refers to a feature definition that was not provided.
In the device type view, you can execute the following actions depending on your user role:
Set filter to easily find the device you are looking for, refer to All Devices.
Create a new device to the device type, refer to Creating a device.
